When I first started cooking about a year and a half ago, my skills were pretty much limited to frying eggs and making pasta. I had to teach myself practically everything. I watched a lot of FoodNetwork and looked for a lot of easy recipes. One of the first things I taught myself was how to chop an onion, which seems pretty easy, and actually it is.
